Presenting HMI’s Summer 2026 intermediate-level Medical Acupuncture virtual course :
3 Common Problems
Headache, Insomnia, Hypertension
Online course registration will open soon. Please check back shortly!
HMI is now enrolling for a new VIRTUAL course focused on three of the most common problems in clinical practice – Headache, Insomnia, and Hypertension.
Frequently encountered in primary care, these conditions are often tied with hyperarousal and autonomic dysregulation, areas where Medical Acupuncture can play a particularly effective role.
Conventional treatment typically relies on pharmaceuticals, which may offer inconsistent benefits, a high incidence of side effects, and significant cost burden. Medical Acupuncture integrates well into standard care, allowing for less medications, less side effects, and better outcomes – and in some cases, serves as an effective stand-alone therapy.
This course reviews the evidentiary basis of Medical Acupuncture as well as traditional, historic, and anecdotal data. Participants will gain clear, straightforward, practical, and point-specific treatment strategies that can be applied immediately in clinical practice.
Please join us for this clinically relevant and widely-applicable course!
The course will be presented in two parts:
Part I: Streaming Video Lectures
HMI teaching faculty have prepared a series of video lectures totaling 3.5 hours. These video lectures will be available for streaming online at your convenience beginning June 25.
Part II: Live Webinar
